Ytno ("we," "us") runs a guest management platform for events — RSVP, check-in, and the door. This page explains what we collect, why, and how it's handled, for both event organizers and the guests they invite.
If an event requires identity verification at the door, we collect a government-issued ID number. This is stored separately from the rest of your guest data, encrypted at rest, and never displayed in full to organizer staff — it exists to confirm a match, not to be browsed.
We don't sell guest or organizer data, and we don't use it to advertise to you outside the platform.
Ytno is built on a small number of providers, each handling one job:
Processes payments for paid events. We don't store card details ourselves.
Delivers invite links, reminders, and confirmations.
Temporarily stores ID images submitted for verification, for a maximum of 72 hours, after which they're automatically purged.
Guest records tied to an event are kept for as long as the organizing account is active, so organizers can see cross-event guest history. ID verification images are purged after 72 hours regardless of event status. You can request deletion of your guest record at any time — see Contact below.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, you can ask us what data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
Ask what data we hold on you.
Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
Ask us to delete your guest record.
Deleting a guest record removes it from future cross-event history but doesn't retroactively alter an organizer's records for an event that's already happened.
ID numbers are hashed before storage. Access to guest data is scoped per organization, and staff accounts only see the events they're assigned to. Sessions can be revoked from Settings at any time.
Questions about your data, or a deletion request: reach us at hello@useytno.com or on WhatsApp from the homepage.
